Ziad Makkawi is an investor, born in New York City on December 25, 1961, as the son of a Lebanese diplomat. His childhood was spent in NYC, Washington, D.C., Beirut, Berlin, and London. He speaks five languages. ==Career== Makkawi is a serial entrepreneur and a pioneer in the Middle East and North Africa investment banking, asset management and private equity markets.
